Our story

Real food.
Real life.
Real health.

Organik Mama was built on a simple belief: that eating well shouldn't require a nutrition degree, a big budget, or an hour in the kitchen every night. It should feel natural, nourishing, and entirely within reach.

The story behind Organik Mama

Organik Mama didn't begin with a business plan. It began with a question — one that most mothers ask themselves at some point, usually standing in a supermarket aisle, squinting at an ingredients list that reads like a chemistry exam: how do I feed my family well, in the middle of a real life?

That question belonged to Sara. A mother, a cook, and someone who had spent years accumulating nutrition books, wellness podcasts, and well-intentioned meal plans — only to find that none of them quite fitted the reality of busy mornings, tired evenings, and a family with their own very strong opinions about what goes on their plates.

What Sara discovered, slowly and then all at once, is that the best approach to healthy eating is almost always the simplest one. Not the most fashionable, not the most expensive, and certainly not the one that requires a dehydrator and a subscription box of adaptogens. The approach that actually works is built on real, recognisable food — the kind your grandmother would have approved of — eaten with a little more intention and a little less guilt.

"I didn't want to be a wellness influencer. I wanted to be a useful friend — the one who tells you that the garlic in your kitchen is already a superfood, and that ten minutes on a Sunday afternoon can change your whole week."

Organik Mama was built to be that friend. A place where the advice is practical, the recipes are achievable, and the tone is always honest. We don't do perfection here. We do real — real food, real life, and the genuine, quiet satisfaction of eating in a way that makes you feel good.

Every article on this site is written from personal experience, tested in an actual kitchen, and offered without judgment. Because the Organik Mama way has never been about doing it right. It's about doing it, imperfectly, consistently, with kindness to yourself along the way.

The Organik Mama philosophy

Three ideas sit at the heart of everything we write, cook, and share. They're not rules — they're orientations. Ways of approaching food and life that, practiced gently and without obsession, tend to make everything better.

Real ingredients
We believe in food you can pronounce, recognise, and find at any supermarket. Not because exotic ingredients are wrong, but because accessibility is kindness.
Sustainable habits
A habit you maintain on a tired Tuesday is worth ten that collapse by Wednesday. We focus on changes that fit around real life — not the other way around.
Kindness first
We don't do guilt here. Bad days, missed meals, and the occasional entire bar of chocolate are part of a full life. Health is a direction, not a destination.

Who makes Organik Mama

Organik Mama is a small, independent project run by a small team with a shared belief that good food writing should be honest, useful, and written by people who actually cook.
